A rehearsal calendar for your band, orchestra, or choir
The schedule lives where the roster does. Rehearsals and concerts carry everything players need to show up in the right place in the right clothes, members answer RSVPs on the event itself, and each member's own calendar app stays current without anyone re-sending a PDF.
lakewobegon.scoreorder.app/calendarMembers RSVP right from the event, and the count updates as they do.
How it works · 6 movements
- 01
One calendar for the whole season
Rehearsals, sectionals, dress rehearsals, concerts, and RSVP and registration deadlines in one place, as a list, a week, or a month. Each member sees the dates for the cycles they are in.
- 02
Full details on every concert
Attach the call time, attire, what to bring, parking, directions, and anything else to the event itself. Members open the event and it is all there, instead of buried in an email from three weeks ago.
- 03
RSVPs on each event
Turn on RSVPs for a concert or any other event and set a deadline. Members answer from the calendar, and you see who is coming and who is not. Send a request to whoever has not replied; anyone who already answered is left out.
- 04
In their own calendar app
Each member subscribes once from their portal in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any calendar app that takes a subscription link. Their rehearsals and concerts appear with times, locations, and their RSVP status, and schedule changes come through on their own.
- 05
Bring in the calendars you already keep
Connect an existing Google Calendar by its iCal address and its events appear alongside yours, for the whole organization, one ensemble, or one cycle. It refreshes automatically, or you can embed it as is.
- 06
Private links
Every member's calendar link is their own. If one gets shared, they reset it in a tap and the old link stops working.
Questions
Do members need to install anything?
No. The calendar is in the portal, and the subscription link works in the calendar app they already use on their phone or computer.
What happens when a rehearsal moves?
Change it once in ScoreOrder. It updates in every member's portal, and subscribed calendars pick up the new time on their next refresh.
Can members see events for ensembles they are not in?
If they choose to. Members can widen their calendar to their ensemble or the whole organization, and dates for programs they have not joined are marked as reference only.
