Why the expense line?
Most software for groups like yours charges by head count, which means the better your recruiting goes, the more you pay. We would rather price on what an organization can actually afford, and the clearest signal of that is what it spends each year.
Use your organization's total operating expenses for its most recently completed fiscal year. If that amount was $50,000 or less, choose the small-organization plan; if it was more than $50,000, choose the standard plan. New organizations without a completed fiscal year may use a good-faith estimate for the current year.
We take you at your word. There is no verification step and nothing in the app counts your money. If your group grows past the line, move up when it feels right.

Members do not pay ScoreOrder to use the app. ScoreOrder charges no platform fee on member payments; dues and fees you collect go to your own Stripe account, and Stripe's applicable payment-processing and related fees still apply.

- Use your organization's total operating expenses for its most recently completed fiscal year, including costs such as venues, music, guest artists, insurance, staff, and marketing. If your organization is new and has not completed a fiscal year, use a good-faith estimate for the current year.
- Same two plans, same rule. School programs, church ensembles, and informal groups pick the tier that matches what they spend in a year.
- Your card is charged for the plan you picked and nothing else changes. We email you two weeks, one week, and one day before that happens, and you can cancel from Settings > Billing at any point during the trial without being charged.
- On the standard plans, yes, from Settings > Billing, and changes are prorated so you only pay for what you use. A beta lifetime rate is fixed at the amount and billing period you chose; email hello@scoreorder.app if you ever need to change it.
- No. ScoreOrder charges no platform fee on member payments; dues and fees you collect go to your own Stripe account. Stripe's applicable payment-processing and related fees still apply. Your subscription is the only thing you pay us.
- Members do not pay ScoreOrder to use the app. One subscription covers the whole organization, however many members, ensembles, or admins you have. Any dues or fees your organization charges its members are yours to set.
- Canceling your paid subscription does not delete your organization’s workspace. Your roster, cycles, library, and settings remain stored, and members can continue to sign in to the read-only portal and view the calendar. Choose a plan again to restore full access. Our normal retention schedule still applies to short-lived operational records, and you may separately request permanent workspace deletion under our Privacy Policy.
- The expense-based tier is the discount. Rather than asking for paperwork, we price the whole product so that a small nonprofit pays a small amount.
